ABILENE, Texas - Members of the 3 Crosses Cowboy Church and Highway 36 Church of Christ continued their ongoing effort Monday to help those affected by Harvey.

They were at the United Supermarket on South 14th Street filling up a trailer to take to southeast Texas, and it'll be their seventh trip since the storm hit. They collected items like diapers, baby wipes, phone chargers, batteries, flashlights, tarps, and canned foods.

Money is also welcome to help pay for their trip, as well as the previous six trips.

"It's God's calling," said Charyl Eubank. "We need to help each other and stand by each other, and that's what we're doing, you know, we want to reach out to the community ... anything that you can give, we appreciate it, and so will the victims of the hurricane."

They will also be collecting more donations at the same location starting at 9 a.m. Thursday.
