Abilene father arrested after infant tests positive for meth
ABILENE, Texas - A young Abilene father was arrested Saturday after his infant child tested positive for methamphetamine. Zachary Fowler, 19, has been charged with endangering a child. Witness statements indicate the child "was exposed to meth, pipes, smoke, and paraphernalia by Fowler during this time." According to court documents, Fowler engaged in conduct that placed the child -- described as an infant -- in imminent danger. The documents don't specify the age of the child. Fowler and a child in his care tested positive for methamphetamine on or around May 23. Hair follicles were tested as part of a CPS investigation. Fowler was released on a $10,000 bond.
