Clyde police arrest Abilene man with‘large amount of meth'

Clyde police seized 41 grams of meth during the arrest of Don Lively on Jan. 27, 2017

CLYDE, Texas - An Abilene man was arrested in Clyde with a "large amount of meth."

Clyde police tell KTXS they stopped Don Lively III, 34, around 2 a.m. Friday. During the traffic stop, they say he took off running.

While chasing him on foot, police say Lively "threw an item" that contained 41 grams of meth. They also found a gram of heroin and a small amount of marijuana.

Lively was arrested on multiple charges, including manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.
