Coleman police nab 23 defendants in warrant roundup
COLEMAN, Texas - The Coleman Police Department tracked down 23 defendants following a recent warrant roundup.
Coleman Police Chief Jay Moses says during the operation, they were able to apprehend 20 men and three women, all of which had warrants no older than three years.
The warrants were related to Class C Misdemeanors, domestic, alcohol and traffic offenses.
Many of the individuals were brought before a judge to enter pleas and make arrangements for trials, payment options or community service.
Seven of the 23 arrested were booked in the Coleman County Jail and will serve jail time due to repeated failures to comply with court orders.
