$14.25 million lotto prize still not claimed, Abilene H-E-B earns 'bonus' for selling ticket
ABILENE, Texas - The $14.25 million jackpot from the mid-June Lotto Texas® drawing hasn't been claimed - but the retailer that sold the ticket is being paid off handsomely. The Texas Lottery is presenting the H-E-B on 1345 Barrow St. in Abilene a "ceremonial retailer bonus check" of $142,696.06 today. According to a lottery news release, H-E-B will donate a portion of the bonus check to the Noah Project. The winning numbers for the ticket, which hasn't been claimed, are 3-4-6-23-34-54. Previous story: It's been 58 days since a winning $14.25 million lottery ticket was sold at the H-E-B at 1345 Barrow St. in Abilene - and still no one has come forward. "It has not been claimed," said Kelly Cripe, director for media relations for the Texas Lottery Commission, in an email. The winning numbers from the Saturday, June 17 drawing were 3, 4, 6, 23, 34, 54. The winner has 180 days from "the draw date," Cripe said, to claim the prize. That means they have until mid-December. According to the Texas Lottery, the ticket was a Quick Pick.
