DPS: 2 Eastland residents killed in accident on I-20 in Cisco


CISCO, Texas - The Department of Public Safety is investigating a fatal accident that killed two people from Eastland.

DPS investigators said It happened just after 2:30 a.m. Saturday on Interstate 20 in Cisco at State Highway 206.

Investigators said the driver, 30-year-old Rose Loree Alexander, and passenger, 25-year-old Brandon Joshua Steele, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators said they were traveling east on I-20 when they veered into a center median, struck a guardrail extruder and went airborne. The 2000 Chevrolet Malibu they were traveling in then hit a concrete bridge support.
