Easter events held in Abilene ahead of holiday
ABILENE, Texas - Easter weekend has been more than eventful for kiddos across the Big Country. Parents and their children went hunting for eggs at the Lytle South Baptist Church Easter Egg Hunt on Industrial Boulevard Saturday morning. There were even snow cones out there. This was a free event. You could also see young cast members from the Pioneer Drive Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir and Orchestra perform their Easter musical Saturday afternoon. The free event started at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Abilene Convention Center.
