HSU Cowboys slug Ozarks

ABILENE, Texas - Colton Parker capped a weekend sweep for Hardin-Simmons' baseball team over the University of the Ozarks with a walkoff home run in a 13-12 over Ozarks at Hunter Field.

Parker crushed a Jacob Barker pitch over the wall in right center field to give the Cowboys the win. HSU had blown a 12-0 lead in the game as Ozarks tied the game with four runs in the ninth, but in the end Parker's fifth home run of the series was the difference.

Anthony Beasley gave the Cowboys the lead in the first with an RBI double and HSU plated 11 runs in the second inning. Ozarks had four errors and six walks in the frame. Elijah Perez had an RBI double and Taylor Cooling and Zack de Luna had RBI singles in the inning.

It was the last time the Cowboys scored until the game-winner.
