KTXS Forecast: A cool and cloudy end to the work week
ABILENE, Texas - Friday morning conditions outside will be in the upper 20s/ low 30s with clear skies and mild northeast winds at 5-10 mph. Take a warm jacket with you when you head out for the day! Into the afternoon skies will build to partly cloudy/ mostly cloudy with highs below normal in the low 50s. There is a 10 percent chance of isolated showers for southern Big Country counties. Friday night skies will stay partly cloudy with lows cooling to the low 30s with northeast winds at 5-10 mph.'
On Saturday, the sunshine will return to the region as highs warm to around normal in the mid-50s with northwest winds at 5-10 mph. Saturday night lows will cool to the low/ mid-30s with clear skies.
Sunday highs continue to warm and we will find ourselves in the low/ mid-60s with sunny skies and northwest winds at 5-10 mph. Sunday night we will cool to the mid-50s with mostly clear skies.
For the start of the work week, Monday highs will be well above normal in the mid to upper 60s with sunny skies and south winds at 5-10 mph. Monday night lows will cool to the mid/ upper 30s with mostly clear conditions.
Tuesday afternoon highs will get to the upper 60s/ low 70s with sunny to mostly sunny skies and southwest winds at 10-15 mph. Tuesday night a cold front will move through the region and lows will cool to the mid-30s.
Wednesday through Thursday conditions currently look like they will remain mostly sunny and dry with highs in the low to mid-60s.
