ABILENE, Texas - We started Monday in the 30s. Temperatures warmed back into the 60s Monday afternoon. We are tracking a batch of high clouds moving southeast through our area Monday night, but dry weather should continue.

We could have a few low clouds to start the day Tuesday. Low temperatures Tuesday morning should be in the middle 40s. Partly cloudy skies are expected for the day Tuesday. High temperatures are forecast to warm into the middle to upper 60s - despite a cold front moving through during the afternoon.

Watch out for strong north winds around 20 mph with higher gusts mainly Tuesday afternoon. Wildfire danger will be higher Tuesday, so even if you are allowed to do outdoor burning, Tuesday is not the day to do it.

Look for fair skies and chilly temperatures Tuesday night. Low temperatures Wednesday morning should be in the middle 30s. Wednesday will have nice sunshine, but high temperatures will struggle to reach 60.

Fair skies are expected for Wednesday night. Low temperatures should be around 40 for most areas Thanksgiving morning, but a freeze will be possible in the Eastland and Brownwood areas.

Thanksgiving Day should be very nice with sunny skies and high temperatures in the lower 70s. Friday should also be nice and sunny with highs in the upper 70s.

Quiet and dry conditions are forecast to stay for Saturday and Sunday with highs in the 70s both days.
