ABILENE, Texas - Good morning! As you're getting up conditions outside will be clear to mostly clear with temperatures in the upper 50s to mid-60s and winds will be out of the south/ southeast at 5-15 mph. There will be a slight chance of fog for some areas this morning.

Monday afternoon will see highs reach their average temperatures across the region, making it to the low/ mid-80s. Skies are going to be mostly sunny but build a bit of cloud cover through the afternoon and winds will be out of the southeast at 10-20 mph. Monday night the region will become partly cloudy with lows in the low/ mid-60s.

On Tuesday we will be partly cloudy and pick up more cloud cover through the afternoon. Highs will stay in the low/ mid-80s with winds out of the southeast at 5-15 mph. For the southeastern portions of the Big Country there will be a 20 percent chance of scattered showers through the afternoon. These rain chances will spread through the Big Country as we head into the evening. Tuesday night will be partly cloudy/ mostly cloudy with lows in the mid/ upper 60s and there will be a 30-40 percent chance of scattered thundershowers.

Wednesday and Thursday look like they will be mostly cloudy with highs only making it to the upper 70s/ low 80s. Winds will be out of the southeast around 5-10 mph and scattered thundershower chances will hover around 40-50 percent for the entire Big Country both days. Lows through this period will stay in the mid/ upper 60s with cloudy skies and lingering rain chances.

On Friday skies will clear to partly cloudy conditions with highs getting to the mid-80s and winds go to the south at 5-10 mph. Friday night will remain partly cloudy with lows in the mid-60s.

Currently for Saturday and Sunday, it looks like both days will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs warming back to the mid/ upper 80s. Lows through this time will be in the mid-60s with mostly clear/ partly cloudy conditions and winds will be out of the southeast at 5-10 mph.
