KTXS Forecast: Below normal highs expected after overnight cold front

We'll be starting the morning off in the low/ mid-40s with clear skies and winds out of the northwest at 10-20 mph. You will definitely want a warm jacket when you head out the door.

Wednesday afternoon we will see sunny skies with highs below normal in the upper 60s/ low 70s and winds out of the northwest at 5-15 mph. Wednesday night we will be clear and in the low 40s.

On Thursday, highs will warm back to around normal in the mid-70s with sunny skies and winds from the south at 5-10 mph. Thursday night we will be clear to mostly clear and in the mid/ upper 40s.

Friday we will start off partly cloudy for many, but clear to mostly sunny by the afternoon. Highs warm to the upper 70s with winds from the south at 10-15 mph. Friday night we cool to the low 50s with mostly clear skies.

Saturday afternoon highs jump to the mid-80s with mostly sunny skies and winds from the south at 10-15 mph. Saturday night we will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with lows in the mid-50s.

On Sunday, we build cloud cover through the afternoon but highs will still warm to the mid-80s. Into Sunday night we get to partly cloudy with lows in the low 60s and a 10-20 percent chance of thundershowers for the region.

Monday and Tuesday currently look like they will be partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with highs in the low 80 and a 20-30 percent chance of thundershowers for the region.
