ABILENE, Texas - Good morning! As you're getting up conditions outside will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with temperatures in the low 40s to upper 40s and winds will be out of the northeast at 5-15 mph. You will need a jacket as you head out this morning. Wednesday afternoon will see highs jump back closer to average in the mid-70s. Skies remain mostly sunny and winds will switch to the southeast at 5-15 mph later this afternoon. Wednesday night lows will cool to the mid/ upper 50s and partly cloudy skies will move in. Thursday and Friday look like they will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs bouncing back to above average temperatures in the mid-80s. Lows through this period will be in the mid-60s with partly cloudy skies and winds will be out of the south at 5-10 mph. Into the weekend, on Saturday, the afternoon will be partly cloudy with highs remaining in the mid-80s and winds will be out of the south at 5-10 mph. Into Saturday night our next cold front will begin moving into the region. This will cause skies to become mostly cloudy, lows to cool to the low 60s and the region will build a 10 percent chance of showers. On Sunday, the cold front will roll through the Big Country through the day. Highs into the afternoon will be in the mid-70s with partly cloudy skies and winds will switch to the north at 5-15 mph. There will also be a 30 percent chance of scattered thundershowers through the day. Sunday night will be partly cloudy and in the mid-50s with persisting rain chances. Currently, for Monday and Tuesday, it looks like skies will clear to mostly sunny/ partly cloudy conditions. Highs both days will remain in the low/ mid-70s with winds from the northeast at 5-10 mph.
