KTXS Forecast: Cooler Wednesday

ABILENE, Texas - Temperatures warmed into the 70s Tuesday afternoon. A cold front moved in with gusty northwest winds late afternoon and brought back cooler temperatures that should stay through Wednesday.

Mostly fair skies should continue Tuesday night. Low temperatures Wednesday morning may drop into the upper 30s. Enjoy nice sunshine Wednesday. Afternoon temperatures should warm into the middle 60s.

Mostly clear skies are forecast for Wednesday night. Low temperatures Thursday morning should be in the lower 40s.

Another dry cold front is expected to move in Thursday morning and keep cool temperatures with us into Friday. Look for late day high clouds Thursday with high temperatures in the middle 60s.

An upper level disturbance will move through our area late Friday and bring lots of high clouds but no rain for our area. High temperatures Friday should be in the 60s.

Partly cloudy skies are expected Saturday with highs around 70. Sunny skies should be with us Sunday with afternoon readings in the lower 70s.
