KTXS Forecast: Cooler weekend temperatures
ABILENE, Texas - We tracked a strong cold front into our area Friday evening. It did create one severe storm that brought hail to eastern Eastland Country Friday evening. Storms moved east of our area late Friday evening.
Cooler air is moving in behind the cold front Friday night. Look for cloudy skies and a chance for a light shower early Saturday morning. Low temperatures Saturday morning should be in the upper 40s.
Saturday should start out cloudy, but skies should clear from north to south during the afternoon. Most locations should finish the day with sunny skies. High temperatures will struggle to get into the middle 60s Saturday afternoon. North winds around 20 mph will make it feel even colder.
Clear skies are forecast for Saturday night. Low temperatures Sunday morning should fall into the lower 40s. Winds should be from the north at 5-10 mph.
Enjoy a sunny Sunday with afternoon temperatures warming into the middle 70s. Winds should be from the north at around 10 mph.
South winds are forecast to return Sunday night, so it should not be as cold. Low temperatures Monday morning should be around 50.
Sunny skies and strong south winds should push high temperatures Monday into the lower 80s. Afternoon temperatures near 90 are possible for Tuesday and Wednesday.
