ABILENE, Texas - Good morning and TGIF! Conditions this morning will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with temperatures in the mid/ upper 50s and winds from the south at 10-20 mph. There is a lingering chance of an isolated shower or two before noon.
Friday afternoon we will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy across the region with highs in the upper 70s/ low 80s and have winds out of the south at 10-20 mph. Friday night cloud cover builds back in and lows cool to the low 60s.
On Saturday skies will be partly cloudy with highs in the low 80s and winds from the south at 10-20 mph. There will be a 10 percent chance of isolated showers through the afternoon. Saturday night skies become partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with lows in the low/ mid-60s.
Sunday, which is Easter, skies will stay partly cloudy to mostly cloudy with highs in the low 80s and have winds from the south at 10-15 mph. There will be a 20-30 percent chance of thunderstorms through Sunday afternoon and build to a 40 percent chance into Sunday night. Lows are expected to be in the low 60s with mostly cloudy skies.
Monday we see rain chances remain around 30 percent through the afternoon as highs reach the low 80s, skies stay mostly cloudy and winds are out of the south at 10-15 mph. Monday night rain chances move out, skies clear to partly cloudy and lows reach the low 60s.
Currently Tuesday through Thursday looks like it will be mostly sunny with highs in the mid/ upper 80s and have winds out of the southwest at 5-15 mph. Lows through this period will be in the upper 50s/ low 60s.
