KTXS Forecast: Freeze Saturday morning
ABILENE, Texas - The colder air blew back in Thursday night. We tracked a band of clouds with light rain showers and sleet through our area mainly Friday morning. Sunshine returned Friday afternoon, but high temperatures struggled to warm back into the 50s.
Some high clouds may move across the Concho Valley and western sections of the Big County Friday night. Elsewhere look for mostly clear skies. Low temperatures Saturday morning should be freezing - near 30.
It should be a pretty looking day Saturday with sunny skies. However, high temperatures are forecast to only warm into the lower 60s.
A freeze will be possible again for mainly the Concho Valley and the Heartland Sunday morning. Otherwise, low temperatures should be in the middle to upper 30s.
Enjoy sunny skies Sunday with mild afternoon temperatures. Highs should be in the low to middle 70s.
Mild temperatures should stay for Monday with lows around 50 and highs near 70. A cold front is expected to move in Monday afternoon and bring back clouds and cooler temperatures for Monday night and Tuesday.
Mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers are forecast to Halloween Tuesday. High temperatures may only warm to around 50 Tuesday.
Warmer air should be back with us Wednesday with highs in the 70s.
