KTXS Forecast: Goodbye rain, hello warm and sunny skies
ABILENE, Texas - Good morning, as you're starting the day conditions outside will be mostly clear to partly cloudy. Temperatures will be in the mid-40s with winds from the west at 5-10 mph. There is also a chance of fog for some areas this morning, as well as a lingering light shower.
Monday afternoon skies will clear to mostly sunny with highs in the mid/ upper 70s and winds from the southwest at 5-15 mph. Tonight we cool to the low/ mid-50s with clear skies.
For Tuesday highs will remain in the upper 70s/ low 80s with sunny conditions and winds from the southwest at 10-20 mph. Into Tuesday night a cold front will move through so skies will be mostly clear with lows in the mid-40s and winds switching to the north at 10-20 mph.
Wednesday afternoon highs will be below normal in the mid-60s with sunny skies and winds from the north at 10-20 mph. Into Wednesday night we'll be clear with lows in the low/ mid-40s.
On Thursday we warm back to the mid-70s with sunny skies and winds from the south at 5-15 mph. Thursday night we cool to the mid/ upper 40s with clear conditions.
By Friday highs warm to the upper 70s with mostly sunny skies and winds from the south at 5-15 mph. Friday night will be mostly clear and in the low 50s.
For the coming weekend conditions currently look like they will be mostly sunny with highs in the low/ mid-80s.
