ABILENE, Texas - Good morning and TGIF! As you're getting up conditions outside will be mostly clear to partly cloudy with temperatures ranging from the low 50s to mid-60s and winds will be out of the north to southeast at 5-15 mph. Friday afternoon will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs still above normal ranging from the low to upper 80s and winds will switch to the southeast at 5-15 mph. Friday night is expected to build a little cloud cover and become partly cloudy with lows in the mid/ upper 50s. Into the weekend, both Saturday and Sunday look like they will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs in the mid/ upper 80s and have winds out of the south/ southwest at 5-15 mph. Lows through this period will be in the upper 50s/low 60s with partly cloudy conditions. For Monday, highs will remain warm in the mid-80s with partly cloudy skies and winds will drop to the south at 5-10 mph. Monday night will stay partly cloudy with lows in the low/ mid-60s. On Tuesday the region will watch as our next cold front begins to move in. Skies will be partly cloudy with highs only reaching the upper 70s/ low 80s and winds will be out of the southwest at 5-15 mph. Into Tuesday night the front will move through the Big Country. This will cause skies to build to mostly cloudy conditions with lows in the low 50s and winds will switch to the northwest at 5-15 mph. Currently, Wednesday and Thursday look like they will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 60s/ low 70s and winds will be out of the east/ northeast at 5-10 mph.
