ABILENE, Texas - We started in the 40s Thursday morning but finished in the 80s to low 90s Thursday afternoon. The very warm air will stay with us into Saturday morning.

Look for increasing clouds Thursday night. Low temperatures Friday will be in the lower 60s. Mostly sunny skies are expected again for the day Friday. High temperatures should be in the lower 90s.

An approaching cold front could send showers and thunderstorms into our area early Friday morning. Otherwise, look for mostly cloudy skies with lows in the lower 60s.

Showers and thunderstorms mainly around sunrise Saturday should move to our east before noon. Mostly cloudy skies are expected for the rest of the day Saturday with highs temperatures only around 70.

A trailing upper level disturbance should bring a good chance for showers and thundershowers Saturday night. Low temperatures Sunday morning should be in the low to middle 40s.

Skies should clear from west to east Sunday. Most locations should have a sunny afternoon. High temperatures Sunday will struggle to reach 70.

It should be clear and cool Sunday night with lows in the middle 40s Monday morning. We should be back in the lower 80s Monday afternoon.
