KTXS Forecast: Overnight cold front to bring a dry and sunny Sunday

ABILENE, Texas - On Sunday, there will be a 10 percent chance of lingering showers for the eastern Big Country. Into the afternoon highs will warm to above normal in the low/ mid-60s with sunny to mostly sunny skies. Wind will be from the north/ northwest at 10-20 mph. Sunday night winds will calm to the southwest at 10-15 mph with lows cooling to the upper 30s/ low 40s. Skies will remain mostly clear across the region.

Monday and Tuesday highs will be in the low to mid-70s with sunny to mostly sunny skies and west/ southwest winds at 10-15 mph. Lows during this time will be in the upper 30s/ low 40s with mostly clear skies. Tuesday night our next cold front will move through the region.

Wednesday afternoon highs will be closer to average in the mid-50s with mostly sunny skies and north winds at 5-10 mph. Wednesday night lows will be in the mid-30s with clear skies.

Thursday and Friday highs will stay in the low to mid-50s with mostly sunny conditions and west winds at 5-10 mph. Lows during this time will be in the low to mid-30s.

For the coming weekend, conditions look like they will be mostly sunny with highs around normal in the upper 50s/ low 60s.
