ABILENE, Texas - Good morning and TGIF! As you're getting up conditions outside will be cloudy with temperatures in the upper 50s to mid-60s and winds will be out of the northeast at 5-15 mph. Yet again we have scattered showers and fog chances across the Big Country, so be careful on your morning commute.

Friday afternoon will continue to see highs 10-15 degrees below our normal for this time of year, getting to the mid/ upper 60s across the region. Skies will be overcast to cloudy with northeast winds at 5-15 mph. Shower chances will hover around 20-40 percent through the afternoon. Friday night will be in the upper 50s/ low 60s with decreasing rain chances.

Into the weekend, on Saturday, we will begin the day with mostly cloudy skies and have a 20 percent chance of scattered showers. Into the afternoon rain chances will move out and skies clear to partly cloudy conditions with highs warming to the low/ mid-70s. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the low 60s and winds will be from the east/ southeast at 5-10 mph.

Sunday and Monday are going to be mostly sunny to partly cloudy with highs warming back to around average in the low/ mid-80s. Winds will be out of the south/ southeast both days. Lows through this period will be in the low/ mid-60s with partly cloudy conditions.

Currently, for Tuesday through Thursday, it looks like the region will build a little more cloud cover. Skies will become partly cloudy with highs remaining in the mid-80s and winds will be out of the east/ southeast. Through this time rain chances for the region will linger between 10-30 percent. Lows through this period will be in the mid/ upper 60s with partly cloudy skies.
