ABILENE, Texas - Mild temperatures kick off Tuesday with partly cloudy skies. Expect clearing into late morning and temperatures climbing into the upper 80s by lunch time. Highs will get up to the mid to upper 90s across the Big Country. T'Storms are possible after about 4 p.m.
Tonight, expect storms to weaken as they move east. Lows will be in the mid-70s once again.
Wednesday will start out dry but rain chances will build into the evening time. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s with south winds at 10 to 15 mph. Storms will linger overnight and into Thursday morning. Lows will be in the mid-70s.
Thursday, rain looks to start and finish the day with periods of sun during the day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 90s. Overnight, skies are expected to clear some and lows will be in the low 70s.
For the first official day of Fall, temperatures will be about 5 to 10 degrees above average. Highs will be in the low to mid-90s with partly cloudy skies. More cloud cover will move in overnight. Lows will be in the low 70s.
For the weekend, expect mostly cloudy skies with slightly cooler temperatures. Highs will range from the upper 80s to low 90s.
More rain chances are on the way Monday.
