ABILENE, Texas - A weak but persistent area of high pressure is parked over our region Wednesday evening. It is keeping us dry and helping to bring above normal temperatures to our area. This feature is forecast to weaken just a little during the weekend.

Fair skies should continue for Wednesday night. Low temperatures Thursday morning should be in the low to middle 70s. Look for sunny skies Thursday and Friday with highs in the middle 90s both days.

Partly cloudy skies are forecast for Saturday and Sunday, but rain chances are too low to mention. High temperatures should be in the low to middle 90s for the weekend.

We are not tracking any good rain producing systems moving into our area for the next seven days.
