ABILENE, Texas - An upper level low pressure system spinning around over our area has been helping to create the sometimes flooding rainfall. This system is forecast to remain in our area through Friday. However, it is forecast to finally move east of us Saturday.

A Flash Flood Watch continues for most of our area at least through Friday morning. Rainy skies mixed with heavier downpours should continue over our region Thursday night. Temperatures should stay in the middle 60s.

Cloudy skies should persist over most of our area for Friday. We are expected scattered showers or thundershowers that still could bring heavy rainfall. High temperatures should be in the 70s.

Mostly cloudy skies are forecast for Friday night. We have a chance of widely scattered showers. Low temperatures should be in the lower 60s.

Partly cloudy skies are expected for Saturday with mainly scattered afternoon showers or thundershowers. High temperatures should be in the lower 80s.

Sunny skies and dry conditions are forecast for Sunday. Low temperatures should be near 60 and high temperatures should be in the lower 80s.

Fair skies and warming temperatures are expected for Monday through Thursday. Highs should be in the upper 80s with lows in the 60s.
