ABILENE, Texas - Temperatures ran about two degrees above normal Tuesday. Slightly warmer conditions are forecast for Wednesday.

Look for fair skies Tuesday night with lows in the lower 70s Wednesday morning. Sunny skies are expected Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with highs in the middle 90s each day.

We are tracking a weak cold front that may move south through Oklahoma to near the Red River Thursday night. That feature combined with a weak upper level disturbance passing north of our area could bring thundershowers to the doorstep of our northern counties Friday morning. The vast majority of our area should remain dry into Sunday.

A weak disturbance moving west across far south Texas this weekend should help bring some cloudiness back to our area for Saturday and especially Sunday. High temperatures this weekend are expected to be in the lower 90s.

We could see thundershowers back in our region again Monday and Tuesday.
