Meth found hidden in Brownwood man's car during traffic stop

Dustin Menefee, 33, of Brownwood was arrested during January 2017 for allegedly having meth hidden in his car.

BROWNWOOD, Texas - A Brownwood man is out of jail on $25,000 bond after what police say they found hidden in his car during a traffic stop.

Police tell KTXS they stopped Dustin Menefee, 33, on Friday in the 1100 block of Phillips Boulevard. A K-9 from the Brown County Sheriff's Office alerted for the presence of drugs. During a search of the vehicle, police say they found approximately 17 grams of methamphetamine hidden in the vehicle and more on Menefee.

Menefee was arrested and charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance under 200 grams in a drug-free zone, which is a first-degree felony.
