Police ID man who was arrested for allegedly firing handgun near Abilene home
ABILENE, Texas - Abilene police have identified the man who was arrested Monday after he allegedly fired a handgun in the 1400 block of South 2nd Street. Police say Jesse Felix, 28, of Abilene, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault. He allegedly fired one round that struck a vehicle after an altercation with the South 2nd Street homeowner, according to police. The handgun that Felix reportedly used was located in the 600 block of Oxford Street - and his vehicle was pulled over and he was taken into custody about 1 p.m. in the 4500 block of North 1st Street.
