Police: Suspended Ranger ISD employee won't face charges
RANGER, Texas - The Ranger ISD staff member accused of having "inappropriate communication" with a student will not face any criminal charges.
Ranger police tell KTXS they did not find any evidence to back up the allegation.
Tuesday, Ranger ISD Superintendent Mike Thompson told KTXS a student reported the alleged incident last week. The district placed the staff member on leave and conducted an investigation.
Unable to confirm or deny the allegation, the district turned it over to the Ranger Police Department.
Thompson told KTXS the staff member will now be reinstated.
