Sweetwater ISD asking for your help finding next superintendent
SWEETWATER, Texas - The Sweetwater Independent School District is asking for the public's help to find its next superintendent.
Terry Pittman announced at the school board meeting on Jan. 4 that he will retire in June after 25 years with the district. He has been superintendent for the last nine years.
The Board of Trustees hired the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Executive Search Services to help find Pittman's replacement.
The school board wants both school personnel and the public to be involved with developing the qualifications and characteristics of the person they should hire.
This district is asking you to complete a four question survey.
