Taylor County man could get life for sexual assault due to prior charge

Emmanuel Boima II, 28, was charged during April 2017 with sexually assaulting a woman that police say he met on a dating website.

ABILENE, TEXAS - A Taylor County man indicted by a grand jury Thursday for orchestrating the sexual assault of a woman could face a life sentence due to a past charge.

Emmanuel Boima II, 28 is charged with sexually assaulting a woman he met on a dating website.

Court records say the unidentified woman reported that Boima and two other men sexually assaulted her after she agreed to meet him at his home. She said the acts were not consensual.


During the investigation, it was discovered that Boima is a registered sex offender and a foreign national. Boima is also currently on deferred probation for sexual assault of a child charges in 2008. Due to his prior charge, Boima could spend life in prison if convicted.

He remains in the Taylor County Jail on bonds totaling $200,000 dollars.
