Tennessee father has flowers, card sent to his daughter every year since his passing
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV/SBG) - A Johnson City, Tenn., woman celebrating her 21st birthday says she's partially dreaded her birthday every year since her dad passed away from cancer four years ago.
Bailey Sellers says before her father's death in August 2013, he arranged to have flowers sent to her on her birthday until she turned 21. Last week, Bailey celebrated her birthday and received the flowers along with a final card.
In the heartfelt card, her father writes "I do not want you to shed another tear for me my baby girl for I am in a better place. You are and will always be the most precious jewel I was given."
Bailey says part of her dreaded her birthday since his death because it "was a reminder that he was not there with me." Bailey says the flowers and cards "mean the world to me" but she especially dreaded this year "because it's the last one I'll ever receive."

However, Bailey says she is "so thankful that he did this for me and will always remember it." Asked about what she remembers most about her dad, Bailey said "I love how he was so welcoming and the least judgmental person I knew and will ever know."
Bailey posted the final delivery on Twitter last week and it has already totaled 1.5 million likes, 359 retweets, and 13,000 comments.
