Tim Tebow coming to Abilene for fundraising dinner in February
ABILENE, Texas - Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow will be in Abilene next month for the Big Country Fellowship of Christian Athletes dinner.
The event is at 6 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 12 at Abilene Christian University's Teague Special Event Center.
General admission tickets are $100. A reserved seating table of 10 costs $1,000.

Proceeds from the dinner will be used for FCA Youth Sports Ministry.
Tebow played three years in the NFL and currently co-hosts SEC Nation. He grew up the son of missionaries, and after moving to Florida as a child, he returned to the Philippines as a teenager to spread God's word and serve the needy.
In 2010, he founded the Tim Tebow Foundation to help make dreams come true for children with life-threatening illnesses. The foundation sponsors Night to Shine, a nationwide prom for people with special needs, and provides care for orphans in four countries and adoption aid grants for families who choose to adopt an international child with special needs.
