ABILENE, Texas - The high of Saturday's debut of Wildcat Stadium and the win that came with it, still rings around campus this week as now ACU sets up for its second-straight Southland Conference home shootout against Stephen F. Austin this weekend.

Saturday's sell-out was one to remember, with memories that will surely not be forgotten, as a historic day for ACU produced an exciting victory for new head coach Adam Dorrel, the teams ' first in 2017.

Now sitting 1-2 on the year, the program isn ' t about to hang its hat on that momentous victory, but rather now leave the past behind and hope that same atmosphere arrives back on Saturday against the Jacks.

"We're just focusing on going 1-0 each week, and if you can have that mantra or that mindset no matter what you did the week before, that'll kind of get you re-focused for that week," said Coach Adam Dorrel on Wednesday.

As they plan on using that momentum gained against a conference contender like S.FA.

"After Sunday when we watched film - that was the last time we talked about HBU," explained junior DT Dante Hibbert. "We're on to SFA now. They're a good team, but you know we think we're better. So we're just going to go out there and play our hardest for our fans. We're glad we have all those fans and we're going to play hardest for them."

ACU and S.F.A. kick-off from Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium on Saturday, at 6 p.m. There are still a few hundred seats left for fans wishing to attend the event.
