Abilene woman arrested on felony charges for shoplifting from Walmart
ABILENE, Texas —
An Abilene woman is facing felony charges for shoplifting from Walmart.
Police say Kathy Deann Meeks, 38, was stopped by an asset protection officer Saturday evening at the Walmart on Highway 351.
She was seen “concealing merchandise and exiting the store” without paying.
The merchandise was only worth $55.07. But because she had been convicted nine previous times for theft, Meeks was charged with a felony.
