"Air it Out" camp draws big numbers to Abilene
ABILENE, TX - 72 days from now high school football returns with week 0, but getting a jump on preparations Tuesday afternoon, were guys participating in the "Air it Out" camp.
At Wylie High School, day two of this popular camp was in full swing with over 60 high school upperclassmen from across the state – even a few from Oklahoma taking part.
"Air it Out" is a Texas-based football camp that develops young quarterbacks and receivers through proper instruction and training, with Abilene High and ACU grad Herschel Sims helping with coaching at this week's camp.
It's at well-known program, with former participants including names like Colt McCoy, Ryan Tannehill, Case Keenum, and Jordan Shipley.
Kids in grades 7-9 will have a two day camp beginning Wednesday.
