Family of slain Abilene man fundraising for funeral expenses

ABILENE, Texas - The family of Roberto S. Cisneros, who was killed early Tuesday morning in a shooting on Vogel Street, is attempting to raise money to help with unexpected funeral expenses.

According to police reports, Cisneros was found dead around 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on the sidewalk outside of an apartment complex in the 3400 block of Vogel Street. An 18-year-old Anson man - Jared William Dean Dykes - has been charged with murder.

An account has been set up with First Financial Bank with an account number of 1110158035.

In addition, the family will be selling plates that will be $7 each on Friday, beginning at 11 a.m. and until all the food is gone. Serving locations will include: 1772 Westview and 1445 N. 17 th Street.
