Former Wylie softball president pleads guilty to theft from league
ABILENE, Texas - Kandace Raymond, 51, pleaded guilty Friday to stealing $45,000 dollars from the Wylie Girls Fast Pitch Softball League.
The criminal complaint against Raymond stated the treasurer of the Wylie association noticed issues with its bank accounts. She reviewed statements and told authorities $45,000 was missing over a 20-month period, according to the complaint.
Raymond was arrested in March 2015.
Friday, she was sentenced to 10 years deferred adjudication and ordered to repay more than $47,200 dollars to the league.
