According to court documents, Sedekiya "pointed a black gun at his (roommate’s) head” on Aug. 4 and “threatened to kill him."

Sedekiya used duct tape to bind the victim’s hands and feet together. He then stole $80 and broke the victim’s cellphone.

But he did not go far.

The rooomate was able to free himself and call for help.

When police arrived, Sedekiya was asleep on the couch with a black handgun in his lap.
