ABILENE, Texas - People all across the Big Country celebrated the Fourth of July Monday, but one home in south Abilene might grab your attention with its patriotism.

If you drive down Southwest Drive, you'll find a patriotic house with an equally patriotic family inside.

"My aunt and uncle were Air Force, my father-in-law was Army," Jana Gillespie said.

Gillespie's brother has been in the marines for 22 years. His original Marine Corps flag has been flying in front of their home since he graduated boot camp in 1994.

"I wouldn't be able to do what they do, and I appreciate everything they do. This is my way of saying thank you back," Gillespie said.

It took about three days to decorate the house with the red, white and blue, and all the flags were made right here in the USA.

"We are always trying to find American made products to continue to show our support for our country," Gillespie said.

Gillespie said she plans to leave the decorations up for the next few days.
