DPS releases victims' names in fatal accident northeast of Abilene


ABILENE, Texas - The Department of Public Safety has released the names of three people involved in Thursday's deadly car crash northeast of Abilene near Hamby.

The head-on collision happened on Highway 351.

Officials said 52-year-old Angela Lynn Adkins of Lubbock was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the driver of a maroon car.


Her passenger, 48-year-old Charles Leslie Dixon of Graham was flown to Hendrick Medical Center. He is in critical condition.

In addition, 62-year-old Bruce Foreman was the driver of a white Tahoe. He was also taken to Hendrick Medical Center by ambulance. He is in serious condition.
