FORT GRIFFIN, Texas - The National Weather Service is trying to confirm whether a tornado touched down Sunday night near Fort Griffin, 15 miles north of Albany.

Cheryl Nail sent us these photos showing what appears to be a tornado. She lives on a ranch about six miles west of Fort Griffin. The NWS did issue a tornado warning for that area because of a radar indicated tornado.

She took the two photos at 9:27 p.m. and 9:31 p.m. Sunday.

Nail said they had some small damage on their property.

"We lost a lot of tiles on the roof," she said. "All of our outdoor ceiling fans are gone. We have a concrete table out by the pool and that thing is impossible to move because it's so heavy and it's in the bottom of the pool!" She said several trees were also uprooted and destroyed.
