Meteorologist Mark Rowlett.jpg

Clouds have been increasing over our area Friday. We are tracking showers south of our area Friday evening associated with an upper level disturbance that should pass east of our region Saturday morning. The best chance for showers looks to around and south of I-10.

Partly cloudy skies are forecast for the Big Country Friday night with low temperatures Saturday morning in the upper 30s. The Concho Valley and Heartland are forecast to be mostly cloudy Friday night with low temperatures around 40.

Skies should clear from west to east Saturday morning. Sunny skies and breezy southwest winds at 20-25 mph are forecast for Saturday afternoon. High temperatures should be around 70.

Mostly fair skies with light winds and dry air should allow temperatures to drop to around 40 Sunday morning.

A weak cold front will drift into the area Sunday, but skies should continue mostly clear. High temperatures should warm to near 70.

A stronger push of cold air is expected to move in Sunday night. Look for mostly cloudy skies Monday morning with temperatures around 30. So freezing temperatures will greet you on your way to work and school.

Another upper level disturbance is forecast to move into our area Monday night. This should keep us mostly cloudy for Tuesday with the best chances for showers to our southeast and east.
