Brownwood man sentenced for 6th felony conviction
BROWNWOOD, Texas - A Brownwood man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for felony delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone.
David Randle, 53, was convicted and sentenced on June 22 in the 35th Judicial District Court during a jury trial.
According to the district attorney's office, Brownwood police started an investigation into Randle after a detective received a tip. During the investigation, the detective contacted Randle and arranged for a controlled by of prescription hydrocodone.
Randle has previously been convicted of five other felony offenses, including a delivery of cocaine charge from 1998. At that time, Randle was sentenced to 60 years in prison.
