DPS: One dead, three hospitalized after head-on crash near Sebastian

Original Story: A female driver is dead and three have been transported to a local hospital after a head-on crash Friday afternoon near Sebastian, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
Preliminary investigation reveals a vehicle traveling on U.S. Highway 77 collided head-on into an oncoming vehicle.
The female driver was pronounced dead on the scene. Her passenger has been transported to a local hospital in Harlingen.
Troopers say the other vehicle was carrying a female and a six-month-old baby. The adult was air-lifted to a local hospital and the baby was transported.
DPS troopers say traffic on U.S. Highway 77 will be diverted and closed for hours.
The identities of those involved in the crash have not been identified.
Troopers are also working a three-vehicle crash near the Kennedy-Willacy county line. Preliminary investigation reveals two vehicles were stationary on the shoulder lane on U.S. Highway 77 when a third vehicle struck them both. Seven people have been transported to a local hospital. There were no fatalities, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
