Two-car collision on Hwy 36, 4 taken to hospital

ABILENE, Texas -- A two-car collision on Highway 36 sent four people to the hospital Monday morning.

An 18-year-old driving an SUV with two passengers admitted to looking right and not left when he pulled out of the airport.

The driver of the SUV drove in front of a pickup truck that was occupied by two people.

The pickup truck struck the SUV and rolled into the center median.

The 18-year old driver was issued a ticket for failure to yield right-of-way.

The accident occurred about 9 a.m.
