4 killed in Houston small plane crash


HOUSTON (AP) - Four people have been killed in the crash of a small plane shortly after takeoff from a private Houston airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration says the single-engine Piper PA-32 had four people aboard when it crashed and burned about 4 p.m. Friday. The crash into a wooded lot in a residential area near the West Houston Airport destroyed the aircraft.

No identities have been released.
