Motorcyclist not wearing helmet dies after being pinned under truck
SAN ANTONIO -- A motorcyclist died Saturday night after he was pinned under a truck on the city's West Side.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 40s, was traveling at a high rate of speed on the 2100 block of South Laredo Street when he collided with a white truck turning into a gas station. Police said the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
Local residents and people at the gas station rushed to help rescue the motorcyclist for under the vehicle.
Police said the driver of the white truck will be tested for intoxication, which is standard for all accidents.
