Willie Nelson cancels some upcoming shows due to illness
AUSTIN, Texas (CBS Austin) —
Willie Nelson is canceling some upcoming shoes due to sickness.
During a Saturday show in San Diego, the 84-year-old musician was playing his opener "Whiskey River" when he ended the performance.
Fans reported Nelson was coughing and apparently having trouble breathing as he left the stage.Nelson's publicist said he had either "a bad cold or the flu" and is recovering at his home in Texas.
The four concerts cancelled are two nights at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas as well as at a casino in California and at E Center in Laughlin, Nevada.
He will return in February for his concert in Macon, Georgia, Nelson's publicist said.
