While preparing for a career in law, she was bitten by the news bug after interning at KTVU2 in Northern California 's bay area. From there she's been an on-air talent for KALX radio, wrote for KTLA's morning newscasts, and worked at CBS2/KCAL9 in Los Angeles on an Emmy winning story about an undercover ATF agent. She's also reported and produced for a cable station in Orange County . At KTXS she has covered stories ranging from business frauds to the fatal drive-by shooting of a four year old girl.
